New Territory seen in Sydney

I was travelling down the Hume Hwy at Enfield,Sydney when I saw an Orange coloured Territory heading the opposite direction towards the city. I wonder if the journos have got the car to start preparing write up about it.
One thing I noticed that it looks smaller physically smaller than a Falcon wagon.

Re: New Territory seen in Sydney

I saw the Monaro Coupe 4 (their new All wheel drive) the other day at edgecliff.

I tried to get up beside it to have a look but the traffic wasn't playing the game.

Had the privilige of driving one the other day, Fords are trying to get some miles on them to see how they handle every day life etc. So you might see some more around, they drive like a falcon but higher , they should be in dealers about April 'ish before being for sale in June.

The Ford website specs show 4 speed auto only for all models, high and low series in AWD and RWD.

Thumbs up Re: New Territory seen in Sydney

There are three Territorys you'll see around Sydney - they're being driven by execs at FoMoCo's Pymble office.

They are all road-going mock-ups (rear seats are not certified for passenger use/skirts and spoilers not fully integrated with the body panels etc.). They are the size of a BA sedan. They are not as long as the wagon but are obviously higher and consequently have a perceived size advantage over the Falcon range.

The dash is Falcon spec. All up, the Territory is a nice vehicle.
