As I was driving down The Federal highway tonight south into Canberra I passed a very interesting procession.
New "Honda/Accura 4WD, BMW X5, Ford Escape, BA Futura and 2 FORD TERRITORIES" One in green with roof racks one in black without, but with 3 rows seats.
Found them later parked undercover in Canberra. Couldnt see much as they were all locked up and had tarps over the interiors.
And it was too dark to even see if they were 2wd or 4wd, 6 or v8.
They didnt seem to thrilled with my interest. Tho I must say, the cars werent much disguised! Ford badges but no territory badges.
The Tail lights werent the real ones (cheap stuck on "trailer lamps") but other then that they looked complete.
Gotta say they look better in the flesh then in the pics. A bit smaller and lighter too! And was not shamed at all next to the BMW X5..... Damn Im going back for another sticky beak!
Dear Geoff, tell your testers to be nice to my next car please!
