Ordered my Territory today - Ford Forums

After lurking in this and other forums for the last couple of months, I've read enough and driven enough to know the Territory is what I want. So today I ordered a RWD Ghia in Silhouette, 3rd row seats, towbar, carrybars, alloy scuffplates, auxillary input and tint. 3 weeks to delivery and counting.

As far as I can see the issues raised here for first year models are no different to other forums. I'm a moderator at www.saabcentral.com for the new 9-3 Sports Sedan. It has its fair share of teething problems but like the Territory its a great car. Nothing bland and ordinary about either.

Unfortunately I won't be driving the Territory that much, I've had a merger with my partner and her kids, so a 7 seater was needed. Drove so many soul-less people movers and fugly klugar type things. Nothing compared to the Territory. You get a lot of car for your money with the Honda Odyssey, but I didn't want to drive around in a hearse!

First project is to wire a BT handsfree kit - Siemens HKW-600 I think. Anybody done one?

Jeez I just checked when I joined up here, oct 04, have I been procrastinating that long?

Hope you enjoy the Terra. Your car sounds the same as ours, model, colour, etc. although we got the mud spats and stone protectors as well (great for the dirt roads etc).
My wife loves it, it is her car after all :-) , and the kids do as well. The kids particularly enjoy sitting in the 3rd row of seats away from us (little do they realise that's where we prefer them too).
Anyway enjoy. We've put almost 12,000k's on ours since mid December without a single problem (touch wood).
