Re: Picked up my Territory

I have ordered mine as well. I am giving up my BA v8 ghia. After more than 8 years of V8's don't know how I'll go in a 6. Love the V8's smooth power and light rumble.

Re: Picked up my Territory

I love to post some pics but I haven't taken any yet. If it would stop raining everyday so I could give my car a decent wash I would be able too. Its filthy already.
Unlocking problem seems to have been fixed and quality seems really good as I have not noticed anything out of the ordinary yet, no rattles, loose trim or noises.

Hi bossxr8,
Good to here you are happy with your new T.
I take it you are not in the Sydney area - I am hoping that it will rain eventually, so I will be able to get my T (when I eventually get it) nice and muddy.
Regards

Re: Picked up my Territory

I have to say that I didnt give the Territiory much credit untill now, in one thread to hear the words "all I have owned is a ford V8 before" I must say that it must be a great car to have V8 loyalist handing over their cylinders for a Territory.

Great news for the Territory indeed, seems certainly worth a second look for all those in the market.

Re: Picked up my Territory

I'm only doing to make a bit of money on it because I get the employee discount. Resale of the BA has slumped in the past few months. Its a good drive though.

Re: Picked up my Territory

Yes remember Kooky that bossxr8 gets a healthy employee discount that removes the pain of changeover. He can sell for a profit as soon as his six month compulsory ownership is up.

This means he can buy one, get sick of it and get back in an BA2 V8 in the time it takes most people to decide on a colour or whether or not they should option that pollen thingy. Buying a BA V8 this late in the series run would be mad as resale will be shot.

Re: Picked up my Territory

I wish I could sell for a profit every time. At the start of the model run you can make a little bit on it but the further you go into the model run the worse it gets. XR's have reached saturation point in dealers yards and resales have plummeted. The BA should have been updated months ago. As for a BA2 Falcon i'm not sure because its only a minor upgrade and the Copperhead will be a pearler. When the Copperhead GT is released i'm buying one to keep for good.

I'm not expecting to see a 6 speed auto in series 2.
