Premiun Audio - CD Jammed in Stacker

I've just picked up my TS three days ago and I thought listen a few CD's and when loading it got stuck on CD 3 and now I can't play any or load or eject. Has anybody else experienced this and if so what was the remedy? I spoke to the salesman and he knew of no quick fix. At this stage it looks like it's going in for a warranty job within three days. Hope this isn't a bad omen!

This is common, you get a new one under warrentee, they will send the jammed cds back a few weeks later..

This is one reason I did not opt for the stacker in my TX (I just bought an Apple iPod and the Aux input plug).
In my AU2 XR8, I had 7 stacker/head units replaced before it ran out of warranty!!!!
Not good to hear that it is happening in the Territory - I thought Ford would have learnt by now!

But the stacker also comes with Premium Sound System - Subwoofer & amp.

Some potential buyers might read your post & presume that the only difference is the stacker.

With all the info from these posts they can make an informed descision & maybe get the premium sound with ipod and never use the CD.

Fair enough, but you cannot get Premium Sound in the TX (only option is 6 disc stacker) and you cannot get anything else but Premium Sound in the TS and GHIA.
But if this is starting to be a common problem, I stand by my original statement that something should have been done by now.

Re: Premiun Audio - CD Jammed in Stacker

About time Ford brought out an information sheet on the various sound systems! With the prestige sound system in the TX you get more than the 6 stacker - you also get extra amps and speakers but not the colour screen. To my ear it is pretty close to the premium system in the Ghia and TS - which is why we got it.

Like the towbar/towpoints issue Ford is being economical with its information on this matter.
