Raptor

In the Wheels mag they also mention that Holden are releasing a 4x4 version of Commodore in 2002 and that Ford version isn't due (still has to get permission from USA) until late 2003. By the sounds of it Holden are going to make a sports version of the 4x4, sorta like a Rex.

Hi Falchoon, I got excited when I saw this thred I thought you were looking for me.:p

Anyway I hope the Ford version (Raptor) beats the Holden version to market. It will help establish them as the dominant brand. I am sure in time both companies will use the AWD platform to produce both soft-roaders and AWD performance cars.

I read in the latest Car News that Ford is pushing ahead with Raptor (no menton of official sign-off or not) however the R5 was not yet on their agenda. PITY!
