Yeas, true on the product front. But someone has to approve it because at the end of the day to make sure the shareholders' money is protected and put to good use. There is a limited bucket of money and the Ford high end management has to decide where that money is best applied. Reality my friends!

ok, maybe I was a bit harsh in saying that its BS..but what i'm getting at is that US management should trust the judgements of Ford Oz management a bit more.

I hope their attitude of "Just go ahead and do it" will apply to more than just the T-SERIES project.

Don't forget the money that Ford Oz would spend on developing a new car would be spent developing an engine and the like in the US. We are chicken feed compared to them, but our product could be said to be quite a bit better which shows that the guys over here a doing somethging right.....
