Grrr...gotta hate that. So often people get a new car and then are involved in an accident. It happens all the time. Maybe it is because the people in the wrong are looking at the car in awe.
Sorry to hear it Daabidoh...at least because he ran into you he is in the wrong.

Happened to me with my last car. i had it about 1 week or so. LEft it aprked outside a place i was working for 1 day asa contractor. When I came back in the arvo a lady had stoved her old well beaten Audi into my front wing. i was nearly in tears!
I went and found her and she denied the whole thing, and coz I was a stranger everyone in the company becked her up, so I asked her to "step outside" and she and about 30 others all came out. Well she couldnt deny it then because her car WAS STILL THERE! She had left it embedded in my car.
She then claimed she must have left handbrake off and it had rolled across carpark, but the carpark was almost level, and I was parked under only tree on very hot day. Thing was she had been drinking. i think she had come in drunk, tried to reverse into the shade and squeeze under the tree and not even noticed. (mind you it was DEEP into my car. lots of damage)
She then started crying coz she wasnt insured and her husband would kill her. (ME FIRST!) Anyhoo I was insured so they took care of it all. but boy was i beered off
daaaang sorry dude to hear about it. Hope all goes well.
exactly 7 days after I got my BA some bogan ran into the back of my car. He didn't have insurance and tried to convince me it was just a scratch and "it'll buff out." I laughed at him (after wanting to kick the sh!t out of him), called RACV and they took care of the rest, i just had to drop the car in to get fixed.

My mates mum had her brand new car written off on the way home from the dealership. Needless to say his dad was not impressed!
I used to work for Subaru in North Queensland and the amount of new cars that were written off after being collected from the dealership was unbelievable.
Heartbreaking stuff.

moving a little off topic, but I was parked just down the road from Oldfield Holden a few months ago, and saw a young (late 20's) bloke and his girlfriend drive out in an obviously just-purchased SS ute... gave it HEAPS... and stuck it straight in to the back of a council bus.
sucks to be them... hope the Territory is fixed to your satisfaction!

Hard luck, hope it gets fixed to good condition again
My old man has had no insurance claims in about 45 yrs of driving, then in the last 3 weeks he has had 2 accidents, no sooner had he picked it up from the repair shop (minor damage, '02 Prado t/diesel) some young bloke ran up his clacker, both not his fault
Sounds like my old man, after years of driving older cars, a van for the family etc, never had an accident. He got an AU, and it was rear ended while stopped at traffic lights twice and hit and run while parked. Total=3 not at fault repairs.
Hope the repairs on the Territory are completed asap!
