A MELBOURNE tuning house claims it has developed a Falcon XR6 Turbo engine with 746kW of power (1000hp).
Nizpro, which started tuning Nissan engines, has turned its attention to the BA Falcon and its Turbo six-cylinder.
The standard engine develops 240kW of power in the XR6 Turbo and Ford Performance Vehicles will unveil its own tuned 270kW version next month.
But Nizpro decided to go all out and push the force-fed engine as hard as it could.
Nizpro owner Simon Gischus says he built the engine to promote the capability of his Bayswater-based company.
Two of the 746kW engines are on order, with customers prepared to hand over $38,000.
