Territory AWD Engine / Transmission Noise - Ford Forums

Hi,

I am a newbie and would like some help please.

I have a Dec04 build Territory AWD Ghia with 3600 on the clock.

Has anyone had any issues with noises from the engne / transmission that is a cross between ticking / induction and a dry bearing noise attached to revs ? It happens when it is at normal operating temp and less when cold.

My dealer can not identify it.

I would appreciate any suggestions or similar experiences.

yep got that at 1400 km
dealer replaced transmission
but it took a while to get that far
but all quite now

mine was real bad inmanual mode 1st gear about 1000 rpm
change gear all gone
had me stuffed so i whinged about where i thought it came from
