I had the chance to enjoy a drive in an offshore Territory AWD GHIA (with no leather?) evaluation vehicle.
We first tested out the steep gradient function in a very hilly area - which the territory handled with ease (you dont even need to touch the brakes down hills). The vehicle is very stable.
Flooring the territory's throttle whilst rolling is not the most responsive (it builds up revs as if it were in neutral and then starts to accelerate) but its gear changes are DAMN smooth. Yes, it is very car-like in its handling manners. Although the tyres will just not lose any traction even without traction control, and on dirt!
The blind-spots are horrific. The pillars don't give you much view!
No one really looks at it though - we went looking for attention but no one cares about it. lol
All in all, the territory is VERY NICE and if/when the turbo version gets released -
