Final episode of The Car Show and they were at Sandown. They ran the camera over a silver, road registered Territory. Anyone else see this ?
Begs the question ? why is August 2004 the release date,as Glenn said it is.
When it is obviously ready now. !! This gives dunnydore nearly a years sale time on Ford.
To avoid any problems. Remember the chippie's saying "measure twice cut once", and apply that to car manufacturing. The more testing and problems ironed out now, the less problems will occur later on.

There is still some time to modify new componets etc.. and work out assembly line issues, staff training etc... I'd rather they do it right the first time then a major embarrasing recall.

I was talking to a Ford Engineer who said that at the moment they are in their 2nd stage of prototyping at the moment (out of 4 stages)....or had just finished that 2nd stage. The ones they have built at the moment are only the test vehicles that are clocking up actual kilometres...early next year is when the "press" vehicles and the dealer show models will be made, before they start making the actual customer vehicles.....that is why it is being released in July 2004, there is still a lot to do.

It will also give all those people that bought the AWD commies breathing space, and time for the novelty to wear off. By the time the Territory is released, Most of these people will realise they simply have a hi riding, under engineered commodore with bad piston slap.
I see AWD Commies being traded in for territory's in droves.
