Territory at Dealerships

I just went to the Knox Ford dealership to pick up a thermostat and noticed two Territorys being looked at and inspected by two different couples (with a Ford salesperson). Being the only two Territorys there, I was thinking (hoping) that Ford might be busy with test-drives.

I was quite interested to note that one of the couples had a fairly new Patrol. I never thought that the Territory might actually steal some of the sales from larger 4WDs. But then I think about it... Some people like the luxury of having a car that is a bit larger and a massive 4WD like a Patrol or Landcruiser is the only option. I assume that the Territory fuel consumption will be lower than those big barge arses? If so, some insentive for families.

Just wanted to share a little on my thoughts about the Territory anyway. It's good to see some interest in these cars (SUVs!). I really hope they're a success.

Our local Ford dealer is scooting around in an Envi green one.

I'm not really into these kinds of vehicles, but they look pretty sporty.

Noticed Maughan Thiem Ford at Mount Barker (SA) had an Offshore one with silver bumpers out the front, i assume it was a TX model but dont know if it was RWD or AWD. Looks like it should sell well, ive spoken to probly half a dozen people that either have or are very close to ordering one. Pity no V8 or Turbo yet though
