Re: The Territory in the Flesh

Funnily enough I'm sick of the Mandarin orange already, and it's still months before being released! I guess it's got something to do with the 99% flogging to death of the initial press shots... you'd think it only came in that colour...

Colours like that gunmetal one above give me a bit more hope!

PLEASE FORD, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS GOOD, DITCH THE ORANGE FROM YOUR PRESS PHOTOS!! WE ARE F*CKING SICK OF IT!!!

Re: The Territory in the Flesh

Apart from that green colour, the more I see of the Territory the more I want to buy one as my next car (a couple of years down the track admittedly, but not as far as you'd expect).

About the only other thing I need confirmed now is the elusive TURBO variant and I'm completely hooked.

Re: The Territory in the Flesh

Theres 2 series. Entry level and upspec version.
Then each series has 2wd and 4wd version. That makes 4 "versions"

I think the entry 2WD will be about Fairmont price level

from cheapest to dearest
entry 2wd
entry 4wd
upspec 2wd
upspec 4wd

I wonder if there are gunne be names for the entry and upspec versiuons like Futura and Fairmont. Or maybe its gunna be something likeTerritory XT and Territory Ghia?

I love em, and Im seriosuly considering one down the track, but I am still awaiting delivery of my BA, so it will be a while now!

Re: The Territory in the Flesh

I reckon its gonna take off as good as the falcons. If it came with a turbo option, it would sell even better imo. I can imagine pimp spec territory's cruising around with lowered stance, big 22in Lenso wheels and dark windows with the doof doof blaring and the twin 15in subs pumping! Yeah thats wad im talkin bout!

Re: The Territory in the Flesh

Holden only sold 17 Adventra's last month, which would indicate that the market may not be interested in the new Crossover phase....however there were only 17 sold because apparently Holden couldn't make them and were having trouble producing them. Makes sense that Territory is still a while off, and hasn't been rushed looking at that stat.
