Quick question.... the engine and tranny is identical to XT6? so all the technical info here about how and what it does, applies to my car too? (Ok i dont have hill descent etc and OBVIOUSLY I dont mean the AWD system) Very interseting.

Congrats to all at Ford Australia. Wish GP could be here to see his "baby born".

I also know of 2 people interested, one of my workmates who has a wife and 2 kids seemed very impressed by it when he saw it at the Home Ideas Show here in Melbourne. Got a brochure for it, however there were only promotional people there with the vehicle, so you couldn't ask questions about it.

A friend of mine also saw it, I think also at the Home Ideas Show, and also liked it (he is over Yarrambat way Rodderz...hmmm

). He is a Ford fan so naturally he was interested in it, but it was actually his wife that really loved it. He said that when she sat in it she said, "Wow, this is us". Says it all really. She is also really pushed by safety (also has 2 kids) so when it is tested I will gladly pass the results onto her. Unfortunately she seems to have been swayed by the 5 star crash results by the Subarus....

Definately seems to be getting a fair bit of interest the Terry

I doubt it will be able to be downloaded yet....they will possibly release it early on the net (I think they did with the BA ad...a day or 2 before it came on first), but that won't be for a while yet.

Regarding the interest in this vehicle. I put down my name for a test drive some 2 months ago and recently checked back with the dealer yesterday regarding timing. Both the Senior Salesman and the Finance Manager told me that the amount on interest in the Territory by customer enquiries and booking of test drives is far more than the interested in the BA Falcon before it's launch.
I hope that this interest is converted into sales. I know my family of 5 will be in one by the end of the year.

i love the car but they need to toughen up the front styling a bit. Something like the original concept car.
If not, then maybe a mesh grill or something
