Did anyone see the 6pm news on TV3 last night?

There was an piece on the Territory driving around in the snow doing donuts.
The journo was talking about how Ford and Holden were getting into the off-road business with their Aussie products. They showed a little bit of the Holden Adventra driving around but mainly focused on the Territory.

Overall the Journo driving the Territory liked the "drive" better than the Holden but also liked the Saab derived cup holders and V8 engine of the Adventra. I've got to say it's about the first time I've seen a news article on a new softroader.

Yeah I saw it too and the Territory came accross as a great new 4WD.

The article went a long way to crap on what a piss poor effort the Adventra is, and rightfully so. The ending statement was pure gold also - the only good about the new Adventra is the world's best cup-holders.. says alot about the car haha. The base model Territory in envi looked just as good as the X5 IMO.. One in Black with new wheels and an XR6T powerplant and that is one serious piece of metal.

Gotta love them snow donuts! Good on TV3 too, yet another reason why it slaughters TV1's "news".

I saw it too, wasn't expecting the story at all. It looked so much better in action on TV than in most photos and best of all they were thrashing it!
