Territory running boards

What does everyone think of the Ford running boards? I am in process of trying to get them on my TS but have never seen any on a Territory.

Anyone got then or seen then?

Mark

Re: Territory running boards

Just picked up my Offshore Territory and they look awesome on it. Makes getting to the roof racks easier too.

Re: Territory running boards

Well I got them on my Ghia. I believe they became available within the last couple of months for the Ghia.

Re: Territory running boards

I guess they must be OK with the airbags now, I have a TS. I am having them fitted tomorrow, and as they are from Ford and installed by Ford dealer they better work with the air bag system.

I firsts contacted my dealer Peter Warren Ford Liverpool Tuesday last week. As I got the $1,000 accessary offer I thought I would get these as I have most everything else I wanted. Service guy told me he does not know what to do with the voucher and would ring me by lunch time Wednesday. No call so I ring on Thursday and am told he still is trying to find out and will ring me by close of business. Well no call came so I dropped into the local dealer Dominelli Ford on Friday last week, told then what I wanted and showed then the accessary offer, they said fine and it’s booked in to be installed tomorrow.

So still no call from Peter Warren so never dealing with them again. Even if they had the decency to ring and say look we cannot help I would still have had some support for them. They also did not help much with the accessary offer, as when Ford contacted me about it they said no the dealer has not contacted us. So they can "go to hell" for all I care.

So hopefully some better news and may be a photo tomorrow when they are installed.

Yes, photos please - close-ups. Also I wouldn't mind your opinion on if the fitted running boards impinge on ground clearance.

Hi Roy,
Yes the official Factory sidesteps are now approved to be fitted (or retrofitted) to TS and Ghia Territory (they received compatibility testing approval in 4th Qtr last year).

Hi Burnsi,
From memory they dont change the ramp over angles or running clearance.
