Have you seen any other type of running boards on the Terri? I saw one where they appeared to be lower & stick out further than the Ford ones. Couldn't see if it had side airbags or not though...

Well the running boards were put on Thursday and cost almost nothing for me with the Ford $1k voucher. I really like the look of them but as previously said they would really only be useful for little people (children) getting in and accessing the roof. However I like then they feel solid and stable, and hopefully will help protect some of the paintwork above them.

Even with the running boards a small step ladder is still easier to do the roof.

I use a plastic milk crate (upside down of course)

(but I have an appliance white ghia - so I am just a wanker)
