Territory TS and Ghia - Audio setup?

G'day there all..

My question for anyone in the know is..

What is the detailed spec's of the TS and Ghia Audio setup?
What is in that 'premium' sound pack and where is the amp and sub located?

Cheers
CaaK

Re: Territory TS and Ghia - Audio setup?

My Territory Ghia has premium sound, with color screen, 6 stacker in dash with two tweeters in the a pillars and a speaker in each door. The amp is located under the front passenger seat (I think) and the amp is on the right hand side of the boot under the plastic trim.

Re: Territory TS and Ghia - Audio setup?

I think you'll find that there is no subwoofer with the premium audio setup in Territory (unlike Falcon).

Under the front passenger seat is where the DVD Sat Nav unit is located (where fitted).

CAAK --- I dont think you'll find much info on the tech specs of the system, if by that you want stuff like THD or impedance.

Basically, the sound system is good. Unless you are an audiophile who needs an incredible system ... I would think that 95% of the population will be more than happy with the premium system. It has good sound on CD and radio.

I will repeat what I said before, the Territory has the subwoofer underneath the plastic trim on the side of the boot. This was pointed out by the salesman when mine was delivered, and the spec sheet for the Territory Ghia shows that it has the amp and subwoofer included in the premium audio package. If you don't believe that go and check for yourself. Look in the boot on a Ghia and you will see it underneath the plastic grille in the trim panel.

Hi bossxr,

Yes you are correct, I checked out mine. Power rating it 150w X 4 for front and rear speakers and the subwoofer amp rated at 150W to driver the sub which is under the plastic trim in the cargo area.

Re: Territory TS and Ghia - Audio setup?

Has anyone installed the Blaupunkt DVD unit with the BA Falcon intergration kit into a Territory?

This install lets you use the Colour Screen in the dash for movie playback etc..

Click here for a look. (NB: Adobe Acrobat required)

Yeah I'v seen it done to a few. With roof mount screens as well.

Re: Territory TS and Ghia - Audio setup?

My Terri Ghia AWD is almost here. Yah!!

Can the premium audio setup play mp3 files - or just straight audio files?
