Anyone from Melbourne going to the show? Would appreciate any digital photos to be posted up here. Particularly the rear because I haven't seen any shots of it yet.
A little bit disappointed that they weren't more aggressive with the styling. Was hoping for a jacked up looking XR. Still think I have found my next car though. The Territory Turbo Ghia interior photos pasted here look awesome.
Looks awesome. Any shots of the rear? XR6T with a scoop would be cool because I have always hated that the turbo badge on the boot is the only way on to tell the difference between the standard XR6 and the XR6T on the road.
Me thinks Terri Turbo has top mounted intercooler to still allow soft roading, thus the top mounted scoop. XR intercooler is front mounted, thus fed by the bumper / grill... The terry looks frickin AWESOME!

"The Turbo is roughly based on the entry-level TX, which sells for $43,990 as an all-wheel-drive; so expect a price tag close to $55,000.
The flagship Ghia gets all the leather trimmings as well as more electrics, pushing the price to around $65,000"
I think this is purely speculation from drive or it is always possible that a little birdy told them. Seems a big jump in price compared to the difference between a standard XR6 and a XR6 Turbo.
I went to the show last night. The salesman suggested a price of about $50,000 for the base turbo. Seems to contradict the $55,000 I've seen mentioned, but even that is probably speculation. Overall, thought it looked a little plain. Those wheels could have been more aggressive and the seat trim isn't to my liking (would have preferred plain black if anything). And those exhaust tips...... Anyway, I'll still look forward to a test drive in June.
i feel it's up to me to tell it like it is!..............the car looks like crap guys!! lets all just admit it! it just looks like a territory! and lets face it, they now exactly a pretty sight! especially in that lime green color!.............so fordy!

I think it is supposed to look like a Territory.. its just got a turbo :whoaa:
MOST people will agree the Territory is probably one of the Best looking SUV's out there and this is pretty much backed by its sales figures.. and all the awards it has won, first time I have heard someone call it crap in appearance, but each to there own i suppose
Mate, if it looks like a Territory but has an extra 40-50kw's, its the goods to me riest:
i tend to agree with you all that ford should put the scoop on the xr6T to differentiate it from the stock xr6, plus it would juz look sick anyway, by da way can sum1 tell me how 2 post my own question? cheers
