Territory V8 EXISTS!!!

Tonight My car was locked away with a fair few others in preparation for this weekends Holden vs Ford show at Homebush Sydney.

In a break from cleaning my car, was wandering around the show as others stalls set up and came across a jaw dropping sight.

A black RWD Territory, slammed to the deck and wearing BA XR 17" wheels. And under the hood????

A CAPA supercharged BOSS260 V8 motor!!!!!!!!

This thing looks amazing! How they shoe-horned it in I couldn't figure out, as there is literally NO clearance between the motor and the strut towers on both sides of the engine bay.

Before anyone asks, no I didn't get pics, but I'm sure there will be plenty on here before the weekend is over...

Re: Territory V8 EXISTS!!!

Also, and sorry I didn't make this clear in my first post - it was actually a CAPA car on the CAPA stand.

So maybe they'll duplicate it for customer cars for the right $$$

Re: Territory V8 EXISTS!!!

Try to get in the engine bay and get a pic of the clearance between the steering shaft and the block. Im sure it would be a very tight fit.

Re: Territory V8 EXISTS!!!

Must be tight, if you had one in you'de have to be careful of the power steering rack boots, they wear quick enough from the heat in falcons!

Re: Territory V8 EXISTS!!!

Could a 4.6 be squeezed into the territory bay? 4.6 SOHC 3 valve might even fit with AWD gear no?

If the RWD can fit a 5.4 boss then theres hope yet.. Atleast for rwd models.
