Towing and LPG conversion for 2007 FORD TERRITORY TS SY - Ford Forums

Hello

A newbie to the forum, looking for help/advice?

I am getting close to signing a deal for a slightly used 2007 FORD TERRITORY TS SY. Apart from the usual duties, this car will need to tow a double horse float (mostly 1 horse; sometimes 2).

From reading on this forum, I will need to get a heavy duty towbar fitted to get me to the 2300kg capacity, and the consensus seems to be to go for the Hayman Reese kit rather than the factory kit. If I do this, is there anything else I need to get from the Ford dealer, or will HR do it all?

LPG:
As we will use this car to travel around the city as well, I would be interseted in converting it to LPG. Anyone done that a Territory? Any probelms or traps? I have not had a car on LPG before. My previous tow car was a diesel, and I am switching to a Territory because I wish to "downsize".
