Hi Guys,
I'm New to this Forum
I have just taken delivery of a Turbo Territory
I have already taken it back to the dealer because of a annoying Knocking noise when i 1st start the car and drive off.
The dealer has advised me that this is Typical of all AWD models and it is the ABS Module cycling, Happens between 12 & 15km/hr after every start

Do any of the AWD Owners out there have this problem. Is the dealer just feeding me some BS

Apart from a couple of Paint Defects the dealer is fixing the vehicle is Great

I also Own a AUIII XR8 Manual altought the terri is a different kind of vehicle to drive I love it and i have a feeling once i add a few Km's to the clock i'm gonna love it even more. It certainly has a lot of Grunt.

Hi Kevin - yes, it's a normal sound, not a problem. The ABS module cycling should sound like a "clunk" when you first pull away. My AWD has been doing it for two years now.

You would think ford would do something to stop the Clunk.
My AUIII XR8 has ABS No noise from that when the ABS cycles.

my dads xr6 turbo does it hes a bit annoyed by it but hes learnt to deal with it but my XT doesnt really do it.
