No Thanks! It's fine where it is.

It's not taking up room inside (I don't see where a tyre well would go if you want the 7 seat option anyway) and I don't want it on the back door blocking vision either.

The brake pedal arm has been a minor annoyance to me as well. I don't have huge feet but find that the top of my foot contacts the pedal arm as well as the pad. Are these carryover Falcon parts and not designed for the driver to be sitting as upright?

I agree with you about the spare tyre, it is fine where it is.
I have the 7 seater & the only other place to put the spare is on the back like a Prado, which I don't like, spoils the looks of the vehicle.

As for the brake pedal, I have average size feet & do not have the problem you described.
It sounds like you need to fine tune the adjustment of the pedals & seat, good luck.

Re the spare tyre, my ute has the same setup with the valve on top of the tyre. I have a “Spare Air” gizmo on it, basically it is an extension tube that screws onto the tyre valve (opens the valve) and has a valve at the other end which you mount somewhere accessible and use to check the tyre pressure that way. The tube is long enough to allow the tyre to be dropped and dragged out before disconnecting it if you have to use the spare. Very handy!

All of Freddy's posts make very interesting reading and I find they offer great insight into the younger generation - particularly helpful when you're raising two teenage boys and trying to warn them of the dangers of mind altering substances.

lol ouzo sure mate

nice personal attack

u may notice i neevr start personal attacks cause then i would be a trouble maker , ( which u r)

but i never let someone throw that shit at me im not young by the way

i may have a different point of view but thats all it is a "opinion" and in this case a very valid one

a car like the territory is not meant for extreme power cant handle it

i saw a kid "p" plates in a v8 grand cherokee roll his car , not even goin that fast just cause the car aint built for speed....

so u tell me?

Re: What would you change for the next model Territory?

I agree, having extra power is going to make the vehicle dangerous. Having said that, a little extra would be nice when passing, towing etc. But not necessarily for thrashing the vehicle. I think the Terry has enough power, but would be nice having a little extra when required, or reduce the weight, thus giving better power to weight ratio. The BA Falcon has the same engine and has exceptional power to weight ratio. Add an extra 600kg's and build a Territory, using the same engine, doesn't quite give the same feel. Generally, I am happy with the power!

Having a Turbo might help, but I don't think a V8 is the solution. Reducing the weight and improving a few design features would be a better priority for Ford. Diesel is a great option, perhaps opening to the farmer market, etc.

The Territory is a winner, let's keep it that way!

Re: What would you change for the next model Territory?

Compare Apples with Apples....

Territory = Apple
Cherokee = Zuchini.

the 6cylinder Barra has more power than the Cherokee V8 anyway And only Slightly less Torque......... plus i am certain that the cherokee would just about roll over if you tried to change a tyre

No personal shot, just a comment, to ensure we keep things in perspective.
