I agree on both points.
Freddy - you need to read what you write :-) It varies from useful to filler. It's not a criticism of you as a person, merely that some of the stuff you write is not fully thought out before you type it :-)
The Terri has better handling than nearly any common sedan of 10+ years ago and some more recent. It certainly has better handling than my old Magna. So suggestions that it's unsafe with more power mean that we should make the same judgement about ALL vehicles - which means removing ALL truck-based 4WDs of the road, every work van, most utes, most Kias/Daewoos/Hyundais, every car that doesn't have ABS, etc.
Comparing the Terri to a Jeep is plain silly. The Jeep is a VERY old truck with suspension designed decades ago. The Terri has suspension and braking systems that are as good as many better sedans now built. It certainly can handle more power and torque without being dangerous. I still think that Australia's old car fleet should be the main target of do-gooders. An old car is substantially more dangerous than a Terri due to inferior braking systems, suspension, tyres, and crash protection.
