Re: What would you change for the next model Territory?

What I would like to see is the Fairlane Ghia or G220 type interior as the top of the range (Ghia) interior. They are awsome, as well as better plastics, a friend of mine went and saw all 3 models yesterday as I am thinking of buying at the end of the year, and all the plastics scratched up so easy, it was bad!!!!

Re: What would you change for the next model Territory?

Like the pic FPV, what do you call it?

Couldn't agree more with you TP. In april we saw a few G220's in Albury when we picked up our ghia and I was surprised and jealous how good the centre console and dash looked. A darker interior with gloss wood/plastic trim looked great and will maintain looks longer. Should've been included in the ghia. After owning a fairlane before the only thing I miss is the leg room in the back. However Terri's easier to park, easier to drive and I'd never go back.

Ford should perhaps bring on a true ghia model that will tempt the fairlane & statesman buyers. I know it'll cost more but there are also too many BMW x5 and ML merc's on the road.

That's the Ford style free (oops, I mean Freestyle) concept car. The concept car actually looked good so WTF happened to the production model???

The Freestyle is to the Ford 500 (US) what the Territory is to the Falcon in Australia.

Re: What would you change for the next model Territory?

The six speed Auto has been confirmed for AWD models of the Terry, plus you now get 190kw and 383NM, now if they can change the Ghia trim colour, I will be a very willing buyer.

Question Re: What would you change for the next model Territory?

Someone's probably already mentioned it but a diesel engine. I read something about a 4.5 International V6 that could go into some U.S Ford Trucks producing 150kw and 600Nm, not sure if it would be worthy of the Territory but if so maybe a detuned version could be included.

Im sure if they put a TDi in, it will be the one from the Disco... 2.7litre V6 140kw and about 440nm... Get loads of economical benefits!
