why no snow chains in the accessories list?

Given the availability of ski carriers etc I would have thought chains would be offered too.

Can anyone recommend something?

Good question! I wonder if having only 2 chains on would confuse the stability control? Actually it would probably have to have a program for chains, the normal settings wouldn't be much use.

Also another potential problem is clearance around the front wheel.

Hopefully Ford have it sorted out in time for next years ski season, eh?

Yes there is an approved snow chain. I'll get the details on Monday if no one posts info prior to then. They can only be fitted to rear wheels.

Ok here is the recommended snow chains:

Brand: König
Type: 4WD/Light Truck
Pattern: Diamond
Size: 245, T2 Magic
Features: Chains (x2), carry case, comprehensive set of instructions with illustrations, plastic sheet for kneeling in the snow, and a pair of elbow length plastic gloves.

Fit only to rear wheels on all Territorys
