confused 00' mountaineer-- code PO340

hey everyone,
in college here and saved to buy this 2000 mountaineer. the check engine light comes up with the code PO340. id prefer to save the $ on labor and fix it myself. i know the basics of this engine code on the OBDII scanner... but i cant seem to find the right information. the engine still runs, eliminating some sensors. I cleaned the camshaft position sensor with electrical cleaner and the check engine light remained on. I replaced the camshaft position sensor and light still remains. is it possible is is the crankshaft position sensor? im guessing a voltage is going through some circuit that is causing a malfunction in the computer reading. any ideas.. please help immediately... need to fix a.s.a.p. in order to drive back for ROTC meetings. Thank you. I greatly appreciate it.
