I'm trying to put a serpitine belt on a friends vehicle & since I don't know how the old 1 came off I'm having gtrouble putting the new 1 back on any help would be much appreciatted ty.
I don't have a book for the explorer. For someone to help you they will at least need to know what size motor and if it has a/c or not. I am guessing you are asking for the belt routing and not how the tensioner works. There should be a belt routing diagram under the hood, but it may be missing.
