Hello. I have a 1994 Ford explorer limited. It has the SOHC v6 motor in it. A few days ago I was on my way home and the oil pressure needle started going crazy at a stop light. No hard driving just in town 35mph all the time. Well by the time I got hom the needle was at the L and th echeck oil light came on. I pulled into the drive way and there was smoke coming out of the hood. There was a huge trail of oil all the way down my road and it made a puddle under the truck and just seemed to be coming out everywhere. I put some more oil in it to get it into the garage and in the span of about 20 feet it dumped 2-3 quarts all over the floor. I'm going to get int o it this evening and see if I can tell where it is coming from. Any pointers????
As a side note it seems to be coming mostly from the drivers side of the motor. It has had a small coolant leak (from somewhere) for quite some time. It will drain the resevoir in a month or so of driving. Thanks in advance for any help!!!!
I'll need to be doing this

I'm sure!!!
