i have a 1998 Explorer with the 5.0L in it. the transmission needs adjusted since it doesnt go into park. i can go under the truck and slip the rod connected to the transmission to put it in park. just that i cant seem to figure out how to make the cable adjustment to make it shift all the way into park and adjust... any help is appreciated... pics help also if you can provide any...

Check the bottom of the steering column wher the lever bolts on. We've had some with bolts that loosened and it wouldn't shift like that. It was kind of loose in other gears too though.
