1998 Ford Explorer-Please Help!
I just got back my 1998 Explorer after FOUR weeks at the mechanics. Well, $2,300 later the original engine problems are fixed, however I was left with a disconnected windsheild washer reservoir hose. At the back and bottom of the reservoir tank are two hoses. The first hose runs right out of the tank and goes to the front wipers. The second hose, which is only about 3 inches long runs left and is not connected to anything. So when I pour in the washer fluid into the reservoir it just immediatly empties out of the short hose that isn't connected to anything. I looked around and can't seem to even find anywhere that this short little hose could connect to. I am even up for simply plugging it up with something, because I can live without the rear window being washed. I just really don't want to bring it back to the mechanic again, like I said it was there for a whole friggin month! If someone knows where this short hose is supposed to be connected too or can tell me how to easily plug it up I would appreciate it greatly. Thanks in advance!
