jesrazo Registered User Join Date: Dec 2005 Posts: 1	1998 Ford Explorer Sport SOHC VERY HIGH IDLE This problem just started yesterday. I turn the truck on and the engine jumps to 3000 rpm and idles there. When i put it in drive it jumps to 1500. Put it back in park and it jumps to 3000 again. If i start to drive off it will stay between 1500-3000 steadily without putting gas to it. Sometimes it does jump back down to normal around 800-1000 but its rare. At a stop light it idles at 2000-3000. PLEASE HELP
