2000 Explorer sunroof leak
When it rains heavily, my 2000 Explorer sunroof leaks, soaking my seats and filling the cupholders with water. It wasn't a problem for a while because I had a garage, but I have since moved and have to park in a lot. I took it to the dealership because I have an extended warranty (running out in October). They told me it was not a warranty issue because the drain was clogged and simply had to be cleaned. They said they cannot make warranty claims unless a part is faulty and needs replacement.
Does anyone have any info on this? They quoted me a cost of $300+ which is almost all labor. This pisses me off since the problem has been going on for a while, but I have only decided to address it recently. Thanks.
