2000 Mountaineer

Hey Guys, I'm new to the boards.. let me start off by saying that my name is Richard and I live in Winston Salem, NC

I currently own a 2000 Mercury Mountainner with about 32,000 miles on it.

The truck has ran great, its the 5.0L V8, and has NEVER given me any problems, i've done the regular maintenance on it such as changing the oil, etc.. etc..

This morning I went to crank my truck and it did somthing totally odd on me. I turned it over and it cranked as normal but 2-3 seconds after cranking it just died. So, I waited for a second, turned it back over and the same things happened. I've not really looked around yet at anything and plan on doing so when the sun decides to rise..

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

~Richard
