2001 Explorer 5.0 P0305 Code issue. HELP PLEASE!!!

OK, I'm new here but I'm hoping someone here can help. I have a 2001 explorer with a 5.0 that is showing a P0305 (cylinder 5 misfire) code. I have done a full tune up (plugs and wires) and the code stayed. It also skips really badly. Since the tune up didn't take care of it, I replace that coil pack (there are 2 coil packs, I replaced the one that has the number 5 cylinder on it). It still didn't fix it... I verified compression on the cylinder and it is good. I checked spark with a spark tester on the new number 5 wire and got GOOD spark. I also tested it with the new spark plug from number 5 hooked in to the wire and got good spark, but after running it and pulling the plug back out, it is wet, very dark and smells of fuel. I am totally frustrated with it and at a total loss as to what to do. Any ideas anybody????

Can you smell fuel coming out of the exhaust, like unburnt fuel smell? Sometimes an injector can fail and just saturate the cylinder literally flooding it.
