2002 explorer won't start

Battery is good, all lights, wipers, radio, and everything else seems to work fine. When I turn the key nothing happens. Starter will crank if I cross the selenoid but still won't start. I noticed that the milage diplay reads------. Anyone have any ideas what is wrong?????
