2003 explorer keyless entry code. HELP - Ford Forums

hey i have never done a forums before so i hope this is the right place to be. i just got a 2003 ford explorer from a used dealer. and he was a friend of the family, and when i got it he did not give me a code for the keyless entry. so i was wondering if anyone can tell me were i can find that code on my truck. if anyone can let me know that would be a great help. thanks

If you cant find it in the location of that post then take it back to the dealership and tell them you need it. If they try and make you pay for it then let them know it IS part of the "Safety Check" they perform on all vehicles.

thanks for responding back but i found it on the truck so. but thanks for the help anyway.

I have a Mountaineer and follwed the instructions here and got the code in 8 minutes. They are similar vehicles so maybe it will work for you
