I just had my oil changed and the change oil now warning continues. I have followed the manual but the menu item to restore does not appear.

I think you need to hit reset initially to get to the normal display. Then hit setup/system check/and when is says oil life, hit reset. When is says "If new oil hold reset" comes up, the let up reset and hold again. It is in the Owner's manual, but complicated.

If you went to a shop to change oil, then make them do it.
