2003 Mountaineer - driver door does not sense when it is closed

The title sort of sums up the problem. Obviously the door closed switch is flakely. Can someone guide me to the repair/replacement? It does appear to be hidden inside the door.

Try spraying some WD40 in the lock mechanism where the contacts are located.

Not the key lock, the latch mechanism at the end of the door.
