2004 EB Explorer

My defroster in my 04 EB Explorer is not opening, I know its operated by vacuum, just not sure where it is located. Ive opened the glove box and found the control valves for the sources of heat but the defroster. I can hit the defrost button and hear a lil noise but not like the noise from the other controls. Where is the vac. control for the defrost located at?

Re: 2004 EB Explorer

The defroster doesn't use vacuum to open. It's set to go to defrost if there's a loss of vacuum for safety reasons. Hard to say what's sticking. The control for it is the highest one and I believe it's on the drivers side of center.
