2006 Explorer Transmission Question

I have a 2006 V8 EB Explorer that I purchased a couple of months ago. It was a demo and has just under 10K miles. Shortly after purchase I noticed hesitation when starting up from a complete stop and high RPMs on the tach.
I took it to the dealer they checked it out for "irregular shifting" and had it nearly 3 hours trying to figure out the problem. The service manager indicated that they had three other 2006 Explorers in with the same problem within that same week.

Has anyone else experienced this same problem? If you have I'd love to find out the resolution.

Thanks.

Re: 2006 Explorer Transmission Question

I do not think there is a resolution for this. It has to do with the electronic throttle control and they all do it.
