So I have an 02 explorer 4.6 V8 and my 4WD wasn't working, so after doing some research I replaced the TCCM and now my 4Hi will light up on the dash when I push the button but it turns off as soon as I put my vehicle into gear. Does anyone have any idea why it would do that? Thanks in advance
I also have a suspicion that my CV Joint/Axle may be bad.
I'm not sure, something to look in to though. Thanks for the quick reply!
There is also a rumbling from my front end only when I'm accelerating and have the wheels turned. I'm thinking that may be an issue with my CV joint/axle.
Could be the hubs partially engaged as well. You'll have to make that determination from the sound.
