Ive got 92 ford explorer speedo is stuck @140 kph. Also doesnt work in the colder weather, It works in warm temps. I am thinking the speedo cable is worn out. Any other input?

The speedo is electronic and doesn't have a cable. I'd guess the speedo needs to be replaced.

I did a little more troubleshooting, I got the speedo cable to work. Also unhooked the cable from the transmission moved it around, Took the vehicle out for a drive it bad to working. Also found out its a mechanical speedo, It ran by a Magnet source. Thanks for the input.
