The saga of our Explorer continues. We have had much work done on this thing. The latest is: it will start and run but the engine floods out and barely will idle. If you unhook the Mass Airflow Sensor it will idle OK and run OK until you let off on the gas, then it will die on you. It will start back up but will act this way until it gets good and warm. You hook the MAFS back up and it will load again. The mechanic says there are no faulty readings on his tester. He is looking at individual voltages to see if anything can be found there. We have had sensors and the MAFS replaced in the past as well as some wiring worked on. I thought this one would be simple but so far it is not.
