96 Explorer Limited will not start since alt. replaced.
Alternator died while driving.....battery dead........towed home......replaced alternator......charged up battey.......when ignition is turned on you can hear the fuel pump run, but as soon as that small amount of gas is used engine dies. This sounds like some sort of security system issue. I have checked the
fuel pump reset, and it is OK, cannot find any blown fuses. The battery was
dead in the truck for about 12 hours....is there some sort of trick to reset the security system, after a battery disconnect?
