hallsound Registered User Join Date: Sep 2002 Location: ohio Posts: 8	96 explorer xlt I am having a big challenge with a howling sound when it first warms up. I was told it was the intake thingy that holds the air filter. I had that replaced with a K&N Charger, wow what a difference. but mr howl came back, this time when the howl did its thing it killed the engine. Thats a First! Ok! Cranked back up ran like nothing happened. Any Clues?
