tdf2001 Registered User Join Date: Jun 2006 Posts: 1	98 Explorer Steering Wheel Whine? My steering wheel has developed a distinct whine when I am turn. This only happens on warmer days and goes away in the winter. The power steering fluid is ok, it seems. The whine comes from the inside of the steering wheel, not from within the engine compartment. Handling is not affected at all. Anyone an idea what this could be?
