I don't know but it's a common problem with explorers. Very annoying. I've searched the web and found replacements for 10 bucks but it looks like a piece of plastic that goes over the metal handle - not the actual handle. I read the description and it says "seat back recliner adjustment handle". It sounds accurate but the picture doesn't look right. Now on ebay, I found the exact thing your picture showed but it was the whole chacha, with the handle plus the mechanical parts and everything for 40 bucks (plus 15 for shipping! wtf?). I know that would be a sure fix but I don't wanna spend 55 dollars if I don't have to. Maybe I'll go to a wrecking yard (good luck with that as this is a common problem and someone is bound to have snatched it up!). Till then I'll use a big screw driver.
