If I fit a set of 31x10.50x15 on 15x8 rim on a 98 UP Explorer, what can I do to adjust the speedo to maintain accuracy?

You can do two things

1. Get the dealer to do it, as they have the tools necessary to change the computer parameters properly. Be sure to correctly find the true tire diameter as not all 31" tires (as advertised) are really 31". Some can be larger, around 31.4" or shorter around 30.5". The manufacturer website should list this.

2. Check to see if there is a power programmer available;Superchips, SCT, Hypertech, or similar that allows you to program different tire sizes.
